I went to the Pacific Northwest and just absolutely gorgeous up there and got a lot of photos and just experienced the textures and the colors of nature.

I grew up along the beach, and just the sandpipers and the shore birds and the sound of the waves and, you know, you've got sound, you've got heat from the sun and sand under your feet, and it's just a very, uh, sensual type place.

[Instrumental music] Patty has three works in this exhibition that I think are best described as landscapes that she has created using images of the beach and found leaves and branches, and all of them using her skills in cyanotype as well as embroidery and latch hooking, which is a rug-making technique.
