What do you think a business's responsibilities are to the communities that support them?
8:41
Well, first of all, I want to let you know that we do have a giving back day coming up actually this Saturday at all of our locations.
8:47
So all of the profits are going to go to various charities in Houston, San Antonio and Central Texas.
8:54
So it's a good timing to have this conversation.
8:57
Well, for us, we were astonished how forgiving our customers were.
9:04
And as I said earlier, actually rooting us on, telling us that they were going to come back despite the mistakes we were making.
9:12

6:51
We traveled with, you know, 30 kids in rented vans.
6:56
I was like 19 years old at the time running the camp and I'd always had something going on.

10:24
I had no rules.
10:26
This was like, you know, fighting in the jungle.
10:29
And, and so, you know, my wife and I lived at the first location for the first couple of years.
10:35
I can tell you, um, 7:00 in the morning I would walk in, grab the money from the, the safe, make the deposit from the da- the day before, and if I got home at midnight, it was a good day.
10:48
And I did that forever.
