Uh, share again a, a bit more specific insight into what Best Buddies can do to help families.

I can't say that I've gone through it, but I have, you know, met and worked with a lot of families that, that have sons and daughters with, you know, with an IDD and special needs and a lot of friends.

And I think when you find out, uh, you're, you know, you're having a son or a daughter with special needs, something you didn't expect, it's a big hit, right? And I think some people react in different...

Well, everyone reacts in a different way, I guess, but [laughs] but I think some people react and say, "Well, I can't do this," like, "It wasn't part of my plan," and, and all of those things.

And, you know, we've had, uh, recently Anthony, uh, Shriver, who's my boss and, and founded Best Buddies, he tells this story about talking to a parent recently who, you know, was basically gonna terminate the pregnancy when they found out.

And, you know, they entered our program, we matched them up with a, a mentor, and, uh, through those discussions and that mentor program with- between the parents, um, the, the parent that had gone through it and had a, a successful, uh, son, you know, communicated, "Hey, you're gonna have...

You know, this child's gonna have a beautiful life.

You have to work hard and have the, the means to do it, but Best Buddies helping with living arrangements, let's just talk about that.
