When you heard of Serena Williams at age 44 making the comeback to tennis, what were your first thoughts as someone who knows her and her game so well?

Well, I was not surprised, um, because I knew how much I missed, she missed, sorry, tennis.

I knew how much tennis m- means to her.

I knew also the adrenaline that you live when you're a tennis player for so long, every single day since she was almost b- born.

I mean, that's not true, but she started competition very early, even though it was not, of course, uh, big tournaments.

But you live with that on a daily basis, and I think once you stop, it's extremely difficult.

What were your impressions of her today, and how long before you think she gauges will she be ready to play singles, or you feel like for now she'll just be playing doubles?

She's been able to achieve things in the past that I thought and everybody would think are impossible.

Winning a Grand Slam with 40 degrees fever the whole tournament is, on the paper, it's impossible.

She did it.

I mean, she has, she's- she's 44 years old, which is very old for that sport, but on the other hand, she's in perfect shape.
