Can you talk about the nostalgia of coming back and winning today?

Yeah, no, I mean, I think just that when you get on the field, you kind of feel that.

I mean, just looking around and seeing the stadium where you won your first Super Bowl, and even at the same hotel room.

So, like, just going to get to the hotel, and I'm like – I'm texting some of the guys that were around because we spent a full week here and it was like guys would come to your room and you kind of have that team bonding stuff going on.

And so it was cool to kind of be back here and to play this game.

At the end of the day, you got to go out there and play.

And so it was good to get a win.

Over the nine months, has the challenge been more difficult from a physical standpoint in some of the things that you alluded to? Or mentally, has it been more difficult?

Probably mentally, but, I mean, it's challenging both ways.

I mean, just having to go through the day-by-day process.

I mean, you don't see the results that you want to see every single day, but you have to take the little results as wins.

And so I remember back to, like, Christmas Day, riding the bike on Christmas Day and being able to finally do, like, a full rotation of my leg and, like, how that was kind of the little win that I had just kind of early after surgery.

And it was just little wins like that.

throughout the entire process until I got to training camp, and then it was kind of just let you go out there and be yourself.

Have you guys as the leaders of this team had a conversation about what went wrong last season and what you guys need to do to not allow that to take place again?

Yeah, no, it actually started in my first year in the NFL.

I started drinking coffee a lot, just being in a lot of meetings.

And I really just fell in love with it.

You know, it started off first as like a functional thing.

And then I really fell in love with just the taste and trying to make sure that what I was putting into my body.

Um, was good.

B, I like being in Kansas City, people are extremely nice, extremely passionate about the Chiefs.

Or C, KC isn't as fun as a city like Las Vegas, but at least I don't gamble all my contract away.

What does it feel like?

Yeah, I mean, it's pretty awesome.

I mean, at the time, I wish we'd have won.

That would have been a lot better.

But, yeah, I didn't realize I had that many yards at all.

I honestly had no idea.

Sometimes you can kind of know you're throwing for a lot, but that game I was just trying to score to keep up with them.

How do you explain your quickness in that particular drill?
