Uh, those of us in the golf industry know you as an exceptional photographer and your work has continued to take you all over the place capturing images that honestly dreams are made of but that wasn't always your job so take us back before the RVs before the world record pursuits what's your golf origin story and how did you get into working as a golf course photographer

that's good I mean that's good it's good because it's people tend to focus on really the fun stuff but it's what the stuff that comes before that is the stuff that makes us who we are and uh why we tend to excel in certain areas and it really kind of it goes back to me my origin story is i mean i'm a kid in fort wayne indiana and uh i am uh i started first off i started just looking for golf balls i've always been a collector of of things um you know now it's scorecards or whatnot but back then it was golf balls it wasn't even a golfer i just went to the golf And walked in the creeks and felt the golf balls with my toes.

And we got hundreds of them.

I would sell them at the garage sale, the annual garage sale that we had at our association.
5:52
And I made like $500 one year.
5:55
And back then, this is like mid-80s.
5:59
And I was like, we made like 500 bucks.
