It's kind of wild to say this out loud, but it's been 20 years since the original Secrets of the Wooden Door and 13 years since the sequel you're about to hear.

The first show was born when Brian Sommer came to me with this old-timey radio drama idea for The Haunted Mansion.

He and I worked on the script together, and then I spent way too many late nights producing, editing, doing Foley, all of it.

And I loved every minute of it.

To this day, people tell me it's part of their Halloween tradition, which honestly blows my mind.
