She lands a day job at the local climbing gym, where she attracts the eye of one love-stricken biology teacher.

Name's Patrick Hodge.

Moved out to Boulder, Colorado, when I was 22, and, uh, finished my undergrad in biology.

Became a teacher for about seven years.

So I had been single for a few years.

I was kinda at that, in that point in my life where I was like, "Okay, think I'm done di- dating.

I don't really wanna get hurt.

I just like had to truly rely on Patrick and I was worried that I my stability was kind of like faltering a little bit so he just like let me hang on to his pack and he was guiding me step by step.
