uh across the region i mean it's just really i think 10 years ago people weren't thinking all that much about the lake and and now it's like the number one thing you hear about when you're out talking to people who are voting who are concerned about the environment um it's it's data centers in the great salt lake and so uh getting able to being able to tie all that together has been really uh really awesome

I'm Patrick Belmont.
37:05
I'm a water and climate scientist at Utah State University.
37:09
I am absolutely running.
37:10
I'm really excited to be doing this with Dakota.
37:12
You know, I've been a water and climate scientist for over 25 years, and the science is really important, but it's also incomplete.
37:21
It's not going to be enough if we just have a bunch of scientists talking to people.

22:33
And they're a well-known group in Salt Lake City.
22:35
They give every legislator a scorecard, and they gave Jason an F in 2025 and a D in 2026.
22:42
I mean they have their own reasons for – not liking the things he's voted for, especially undercutting the independence of our courts, removing voting access for a lot of people.
22:53
He's voted for a number of things that opened the door to massive data centers.
23:09
law, right? By law, you can't coordinate.
