Well, real quick, uh, US Army vet, uh, joined in 1965, got out in 1968.

Spent one year in the States, one year in Vietnam as a non-combatant.

Uh, then my last year in Japan, came home, and, uh, as I was growing up, uh, probably in school, I was told that, uh, by somebody that said, you know, "If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him what your, uh-

Plans are

... what your plans are." And so my plan was to be an airline pilot, and then I wanted to be electrical engineer.

And, uh, instead I ended up in Vietnam.

I got back, and those things went out the window, and I became a veterans advocate.
