So what was that journey like getting back into the guitar? Was that difficult for you or was that like riding a bike? Tell us a little bit about that.

The difficult part about it was I love entertaining.

And I don't care if there are two people in the audience or 100 people in the audience.

I just love that connection with people and being able to tell a story and being the creativity that's in it.

And the scary part was that the landscape changed so much after COVID.

I know the venues are where I play well, and sadly, a lot of those didn't make it through.

And the scary part was, am I going to be able to do this now? Building the confidence to come back up was one thing, but then losing a lot of the places that I had played where I knew I'd be able to go back to, and having to start from square one, reintroducing myself to new venues, It's a slow process because there are a lot of incredible songwriters and musicians out there all fighting for fewer and fewer places to play.
