We-- I think we gotta let you go for a while 'Cause I am seriously curious more about really the thoughtfulness in creating community for those youth with limb difference Like, that's powerful.

Yeah.

So one in 1600 births is actually in the United States is a child born with some type of limb difference, whether it be very subtle or something that is more impactful that's ve- very visible.

But doing that, we decided we were gonna start doing a picnic every year, and kinda through attrition and connecting with other people and building community, I realized that there was a organization that is called The Amputee Coalition, and it is spearheaded out of Washington, DC.

And their main focus is making sure that individuals in this community have the ability to find jobs that are gonna be able to support them and their abilities.

They also then advocate at a national level to make sure that any individual of this demographic has what they need.

So in getting connected with that community as well, realize that there is a bigger scope of people that needed to be served, not just children, and we have now morphed into not just children but adults as well, and we are also now partnering with The Amputee Coalition in the state of Wisconsin to try to clarify what's deemed medically necessary for insurance purposes to ensure that prosthetics, mobility devices, and orthotics are more accessible so that way individuals who are currently trying to do things outside of their homes have more access to be able to do things outside.
