Hello, uh, I'm Owais.

I am one of the, um, clinical fellows at the National Amyloid Centre in London, which is the tertiary referral center for, uh, all amyloidosis patients in the UK.

Um, so I have extensive experience, uh, managing patients with ATTR-CM.

So what I'd like to talk about today, um, is why imaging is so important.

So traditionally, we've relied on biomarkers such as BNP and troponin.

They're useful, but fundamentally, uh, they're late and indirect markers reflecting downstream consequences like wall stress and myocardial injury rather than the underlying disease itself.
