yep

And our employees were asking for some additional food options because going to lunch was taking a lot of time.
3:25
And so one of our employees had this idea to start inviting local restaurants into our office and selling food to our employees.
3:32
And it started out as a one day a week program.
3:35
And over the next couple of years, it grew to a five day a week program.
3:39
And it was our most used perk.
3:41
People talked about it all the time.

You can't
17:29
Why was it so important for you to own the entire tech stack versus using third-party solutions?
17:35
Yeah, that's a great question.
17:37
When we started, we always had our own mobile app that provided visibility to clients in regards to what restaurants were coming, the ability to order, et cetera.
17:51
But some of that initial infrastructure was built on third-party POSs.
17:57
And what we have found was at one point, we wanted to start doing things like having a loyalty program Um, being able to do personalization at the consumer level and the POSs that were out there were all designed for restaurants, not for a, a, a platform like food that at the time had 2000 restaurants.
18:16
And how do you have a loyalty program that sits on top of 2000 brands? Or how do you think about syndication of different restaurant menus to this audience? Um, And so after doing a lot of research, we talked to a couple POS companies about, you know, is it worth building some of our needs into their solutions? And we came to the conclusion that we should just build our own.
18:37
And so that was about in 2016.
