Who's right? Who's wrong? Who's up and down?
17:29
Yeah, absolutely.
17:31
Uh, traditional sprinkler and drip equipment manufacturers have pretty long dominated the irrigation market, um, but the growth of smart irrigation is, is now creating this strategic divergence between companies.
17:44
So we have companies like Lindsay and Valmont, these, these large sprinkler manufacturers that have pretty actively been working to build out integrated software platforms for irrigation support over the last decade to, uh, work with their center pivot systems, and these, these companies in particular, they're kind of working off of, like I mentioned earlier, this historic remote control technology that has been in place in pivot systems.
18:09
But now they're trying to build out those platforms more to offer crop water modeling, automatic water adjustments, remote management, things like that.
18:17
And then in the drip line space, the two that come to mind are Jain and Netafim.
18:21
They're, they're really making a pretty big push to get into the software space as well by developing their own platforms that control their own equipment.
