What do black bears actually eat?

So it's, it's very interesting because we classify animals in lots of different ways.

Sometimes it's taxonomically based on their morphology.

And so bears are a part of order Carnivora, so they are absolutely carnivores.

And additionally, we classify animals based on behavioral characteristics.

Are they diurnal or nocturnal? We classify animals based on their diet.

So bears, even though they're taxonomically morphometrically carnivores, they have large canines, for example, they are omnivores.

[laughs] I mean, this is a tricky question with maybe no scientific answer, but do we have any sense of how black bears perceive us? Are we scary? Are we food? W- what are we to them?

A pride of lions spotted gazelles and began to stalk.

And I literally remember it as if it happened yesterday because the adults were, were training and teaching the young, and so they were kind of letting them play with the gazelle and try to figure things out, and then eventually the adults were like, "Okay, enough playing.

It's time to eat our food." So everyone else was Team Gazelle of like, "Oh, the poor gazelle," and, "Oh, it's a mom," and, "Oh, there's a baby," and, and I was Team Lion all the way.

Bones are crushing, bloody mouths.

I was ecstatic by what was happening.

And so I was like, oh, I'm kind of different.
