So for me, I think South Africa has a historical, sociopolitical and theological narratives that are essentially intertwined.

In South Africa, we see historically parts of the Old Testament have been interpreted in a way where one group, and we see that in history mostly as the Afrikaners, see themselves as God's chosen people in South Africa.
