I had lost a purpose.

I had been a child, I had been a mother, I had been a wife, and then nothing.

So in order to work through that grief period, I became involved with the Paracivic Association.

So then it made life worth living again.

The passion was because I had seen other communities south of the river that have disappeared.

And at the time, they were building the high school, and they were wanting to name it another name and leave the name of parish out of it.

And that is, correct me, for high school seniors that have lived in parish and want to make a positive impact on parish, correct? So how did that feel to be honored with both of those? And I know you're a humble woman.
