You guys have the years behind you of dealing with the pushback from the banks, right? I was on a training yesterday

with a gentleman who is a very successful realtor in Seattle.

Okay.

And he said he was listening to me explain all this stuff.

And he said, Hey, Nora, I got a question for you.

You keep saying that VA mortgages can be assumed by non-VA people.

And when that happens, and there's this thing called VA entitlement, and the veteran has to be willing to split off the portion of their entitlement that's tied to the property, but they get to keep the rest of it.

Yeah, my grandma was a smart cookie, but she told me about that for years.

Dr. Powers' work has been focused, and he's still doing it today, on how do we bring positive psychology into addiction treatment? And he's done some fantastic work, and I was lucky to have him as a mentor, and he trained me, and then I learned how to train other people, and all the things, right? But I loved the way you put that in terms of what does intergenerational support and love look like? What strengths can we recognize we've also been passing down?

Absolutely.

And I like to also think about the biological needs of the human, right? I don't know that we're there yet in the realm of psychology or the realm of neuroscientific study, although I will say neuroscience is a little bit ahead of psychology.

Now, most psychologists will tell you people do well in community, right? They'll tell you when people feel like they have a supportive group of friends or a supportive community, they're happier, right? So they know that these things are true.

But when we talk about the biological needs of the brain and body, I feel like it brings it more concretely into our awareness.

And so I want to do that a little bit.

So in ancient hunter-gatherer tribes, according to hundreds of studies of hunter-gatherers across Africa, Asia, Latin America, North American indigenous tribes, et cetera.
