If they're small businesses, they don't have millions to spend
3:17
on their ads.
3:18
Yeah, well, unfortunately, you will have to pay more during that period.
3:23
So you have to take that into account.
3:27
But what you can do now, there's a few things you can do, obviously, to minimize maybe the amount that you're spending.
3:36
which would be, first of all, to test to know what's working.
3:40
So to start now, September, October, to be testing, so that way you know what kind of creative is working, what people are actually clicking on, what kind of assets work best for your brand.

And if we don't know about all of these letters and somebody comes and, you know, they want to do ads in a simple form, like you explained it to an eight-year-old, what numbers should they look for? Well,
6:07
How do you track that and how do you have their emails to even send them?
6:11
So the person will have to have signed in.
6:15
So either they signed in because they made a press purchase or they signed in to... to check something like on their account or something.
6:23
So once they're signed in after that, when they come back and, you know, that session still exists and they view a product, you have the ability to send them emails.
6:35
So I personally am not a huge fan of abandoned browse.
6:41
I find it's a little bit invasive.
6:42
Yeah.

11:49
Exactly.
8:36
see that in Google Analytics? Yes.
8:39
So without that, you're driving blind completely.
8:43
But the beauty and one of the reasons why I've been so attracted to e-commerce is that you have all this data and that you can make decisions based on numbers and what's working, what's not working, and you can... help pinpoint where people are dropping off.
9:00
So for example, if you are preparing for the holidays, you want to make sure that your website is converting.
9:07
First of all, you look at your conversion rate.
9:10
Is it where you want it to be? If it's not, then you think, okay, why are people not converting? You look at, are they viewing the products? what is the view the product view uh statistic if it's high okay it means that they're viewing the product then are they actually adding to cart if they are not then it means that you have to improve your product page there's something there that is not inspiring them confidence enough for them to actually add to cart if they are adding to cart then are they actually going to check out If they are not going to check out, why? And then even in the checkout process, you can see where people are dropping off in the different stages of your checkout.
9:56
And then you can see like, okay, well, there's a huge drop off on the second stage, which could be where you enter your address.

To wrap this up, what are the three things that they need to do today? They need to start today so that they're ready for the holiday season.
