Thank you so much for coming out, braving the chili to be here- [laughing] ...

Guys, I'm so happy to be here.

I'm so nervous as well because it is intimidating as hell to share the stage with Seth Andrews.

Oh, yeah.

[laughing]

So I don't want to completely repeat that, but give us, if you can, some highlights of the conversation, things that you pointed out that they have done over the years.

Yeah, well, so a lot of people, when we talked about the... protest.

A lot of people online jumped in to say, well, this is silly.

Why are you protesting it? It's just their park, right? And I think a lot of people have that impression that, oh, it's harmless.

It's just, you know, people go into this park to have fun and, you know, lie to their children about the foundations of science.

For some reason, a lot of people think that's okay.

What a lot of people don't realize though, is that, you know, we've got a first amendment in this country, or at least we used to, you know, back when this thing opened, we used to have a first amendment in this country and, And, you know, we're not supposed to be using tax dollars to promote sectarian things like the art park, things that are specifically designed to promote a single religious viewpoint.

Does that sound right?

Why? Did you have a fire in your belly because you were raised religious? Where does this scathing come from?

You know, it, it's, it's really not my scathing anymore.

Uh, I was not raised religious.

My parents were nominally religious, but they weren't churchgoers.

So when I would ask questions, very often they'd give me religious answers, but then when I had follow-up questions, they had no idea where to go with them.

Uh, but when I was living in New York, which you think of as this sort of secular bastion, New York City as this, you know, very progressive place, like you said, this blue dot.

Uh, but the reality of it is you see the entire spectum, spectrum of religiosity in New York City.

There was another one, much more serious, titled That Dragon, Cancer?
