It's going to come out regardless.

Noah HillGUEST
At the start, the record was really, I had like such low expectations on it and it was really this small thing that I made purely for my mom really and my ex-girlfriend.

Noah HillGUEST
Like it was really just like a record that I made for them because I knew what it would mean to them and to myself.

Noah HillGUEST
And then so I really, I didn't expect anything could like visualize what it was going to be in once it came out into the world um and then as i got closer to it i was like oh right yeah i'm fully a part of the music industry do people do know me and then i and then you start making the bits and you make the music videos and you like go through the process of getting online and you're like oh actually i put a lot of effort into this Actually, I would love people to hear it and I would love for it to go well.

So moving to the record, I mean, is there any meaning behind the album title or cover art surface level? Or not? A little deeper?

With OK OK Now, could we get a background about the genesis of this album and how it evolved to what it did become?

Noah HillGUEST
Originally I was going in to make some music with a friend of mine and he makes like house music with like fortet and stuff.

Noah HillGUEST
And then he was like, oh, what else have you got sort of thing? And I was like, oh, I've got all this folk music that I just always had and I've always wanted to do something with.

What was that like in terms of just making all of those micro decisions? Did you take a lot of the stuff that you did with the band and kind of like channel it into that? Or was it just like absolutely departure?
