India's renewable hydrogen projects face cost, delay risks from global conflicts
R

So do you know if, uh, there is, there is going to be some kind of easing of, uh, this particular rule for Indian developers?
22:13
So this is something, uh, that's been, uh, going on for the last, uh, two to three years.
22:21
So without going into the details, um, if I can say something that's more public friendly, these rules have been designed around the European power market and bidding zone structure, and India's grid and power markets are very different, right? And for us as a community, as a representative body for the sector, the ask is very simple, that India should be allowed to demonstrate equivalent outcomes.
22:46
And there has been a lot of discussion in Europe about revisiting and clarifying these rules, and a lot of industry groups across the world have raised concerns around the framework because it does slow investments, it does delay these projects.
22:59
But, um, it's, you know, I cannot say that any one of us have secured any relief.
23:06
So our understanding is that, you know, it's not just our understanding, it's our belief and it's, it's, it's fact that India's position is not to dilute climate integrity, uh, based on which these rules were actually framed.
