So h- it doesn't sound like that was really necessarily the case with you and your, and your parents.
16:08
Well, thank you for bringing that up.
16:10
That's a really important point, the whole forgotten mourners thing.
16:14
I was not aware of it at the time.
16:16
I do remember everybody asking about my parents, and again, when I searched about sibling grief and sibling loss, I didn't find much.
16:22
So it was some sort of external confirmation that my grief was not important or valid and that more than anything, something was wrong with me.
16:30
And so it's something that I needed to fix within myself and get it together as quickly as possible so you could help, help your parents.

What would you say is the moment you realized that you wanted to create grief and light? And how did your personal grief, you know, kind of push you towards that mission?
6:12
Yes, thank you for that question.
6:13
There was not one moment.
6:15
It was like a period of time more than anything.
6:18
But the one moment that I knew I wanted to... search within me and with, you know, I call it like putting my bat woman out to the world, was when I started realizing the things that people say to grievers, even as early as the memorial, like my brother's memorial, there's this gentleman, you know, like we didn't know if he were going to, and you know, trigger warning here, I'm going to talk about like the, the casket and everything.
6:46
So we didn't know if we were going to see him, you know, like the, that's such a, these are not things I ever thought about.
6:54
And so, um, When that day came, again, I didn't put my pressure on myself to do one thing or another.

I thought that was a properly awesome response.
