So what are some of the things that people are surprised to learn are part of the digital legacy?
7:40
Just think about, let's take it from you're working with an attorney.
7:44
And hopefully, you've done the next level of adulting and you actually have a will and or trust.
7:50
How are you receiving that document? Is there a DocuSign? Do you have a PDF of it? That PDF is now a digital asset.
7:58
So then my question is, where are you storing it? Who has access to it? How do you transfer it? How do you delete it if it needs to be deleted? How do you make edits? Those are all characteristics of the digital life that we're living today, as well as The physicality of it.
8:16
Did you know that there are some, I know you're in Canada, I'm in the US, I'm not exactly sure all the Canadian laws, but in certain states in the United States, in order for an estate to go through probate, you need the physical original copy of the will and trust and or trust with the witness that's been executed with witnesses and notaries.
8:37
If you don't have that physical document, They can't process it.

And again, they basically left the paperwork to do the talking.
12:47
Differentiate for me, though, between what you do and what you would go to, like an attorney for your will and sta- and your trust.
12:55
We do the pre-planning.
12:57
As thanatologists or as a, working on your final playbook, we're gonna have those uncomfortable conversations.
13:03
I, I'm gonna ask those risk management.
13:06
I could've just said, "Hey, do you have your legacy contacts set up?" And you're like, "Yeah, I got them set up" and continued on with the conversation.
13:11
But no, I drilled in a little bit.
13:14
I pressure tested, are you sure the people that you have in your legacy contact are the right people? Because in my mind, part of my superpower is that I can see the different scenarios that could potentially happen that would cause chaos and confusion, right? So the fact that who are your go-to people? We work with estate attorneys, elder care attorneys, also with wealth managers, financial advisors, long-term care facilities, dementia.
17:21
Yeah.
10:36
Well, recently, I mean, I lived in Lebanon during the civil war, so I know what that is with no support network around you.
10:44
And, and when I was growing up, you know, my, I lost my father when, um, in 1970s, and grief was not a word.
10:51
Like bereavement, mental health issues, that didn't exist.
10:55
We didn't...
10:56
Hospice, in 1979 when my father died, hospice wasn't even in the United States yet.
11:00
Hospice started in, in 1981.
11:03
So like you said, there was no framework.

38:12
Would you mind walking us through the Endeavo final book, my, my final playbook? What does the user journey look like, if you don't mind, for the audience?
24:45
Mm.
24:46
Um, first part of my career, because of my experience, I actually worked in hospice as a bedside clinician supporting families as they transition to this end stage of life.
24:55
And for those of you who have personally, um, had a family member or a loved one go through hospice, um, not all of the experiences have been positive, but for many people hospice has been a very positive experience.
25:10
But certainly watching someone transition, um, it's a gift.
25:14
I don't know where everybody is on the woo realm, um, but in my mind you don't get any closer to God than sitting with someone who is actually transitioning from physical into whatever your belief is.
25:29
Um, and I found it very much a gift, but when I turned 40, um, I actually realized, um, I honored the gift, but I wanted to make some money, so I transitioned from being the hospice clinician to doing project management work, and that's where I've been for the last 20 years as a project manager.
25:46
Mostly in healthcare.

That's kind of what I'm, I, I wanna know, like right now.
