I mean, I can actually just give a whole... turn this into a whole lecture about cholesterol um but yeah apo apolipoprotein b um or apo b is it's a a protein that carries cholesterol particles because cholesterol just can't float kind of free or doesn't really largely float free free sorry in your bloodstream it's carried on these proteins so it can move around and get to to where you're going um so um I like that truck analogy.

Nikki StampGUEST
But if I run with that for a minute, yeah, so these proteins, lipoproteins, and there's lots of them as well.

Do you think there's things we should be doing better? I mean, there's quite a few aorta campaigns, you know, sort of think dissection, isn't there? And obviously transplant, there's always this giant need for donors, isn't there really? Do you think there's some things we could be doing better as a specialty? Yeah.

Nikki StampGUEST
And so my other area of interest, and I'm actually doing another master's at the moment in health policy, because I think that those are two really great examples of areas where health policy has a really important role to play and they are very relevant to our specialty.

Nikki StampGUEST
You know, are we looking at population based screening or even first degree relative screening? I don't think we do particularly well.

Nikki StampGUEST
A lot of that needs to be driven from a policy level, whether it be local, national, society, colleges, to try and really, you know, improve the care that these patients get.

Joel DunningHOST
Now, where should our specialty go in the next five years? Where would you like to see us throw our weight behind in terms of policies?
