How do you address that? And I do think that your campaign does take this into account.

Yeah, wages have not kept up with inflation, and particularly for renters, right? Rents are increasing, utilities, as we know in Maryland, are increasing exorbitantly, and then junk fees that are associated come out of the blue, right? And so for all of those reasons, renters have a particularly difficult time in Howard County, and we're looking at ways to to further protect renters.

Right now, if I have a complaint, if I'm a voucher recipient and I have a complaint, I go to one office within the county.

If I have a mold complaint, which we've heard a lot of quality issues, I have broken air condition, I have heat that doesn't work, I have appliances that don't work, I have mice, I have pests.
12:11
I go to a different office.
12:13
If I am a person with a disability and have an issue, I go to a different office.
12:17
There are five or six county offices that are responsible for supporting and protecting our renters.

And what's the main point of the strategy? What is it that you would like to immediately put in front of a new county executive?
