[laughs] We, we sent him some ideas, and, uh, the, I think he heard some demos and- and some, like, early l- lyrics.
13:15
And he did some quick sketches and kind of l- nailed it from the start.
13:21
And this was this very dark black and blue haunted house, gothic style, with a lot of birds and ghostly images.
13:31
And it fits really well what we're doing here, and we didn't really have to guide him much.
13:36
He just kept on doing these amazing pictures.
13:39
And, and, uh, like, when I finished lyrics, I kept sending to, those to him.
15:19
Yeah

Mm-hmm.
23:38
And that's kind of the balance between the, the, the sadness and, and longing and, and the, and the good things in life.
23:45
And when you've had something really good and then you miss it, that, that's what really, really feels bad.
23:51
And, uh, it's kind of the same thing with the melodies, that it's not just utterly dark and, and sad and depressing all the time, but there are these glimpses of hope or, like, these good memories of those summer days.
24:04
And, um, well, that's how I would describe it.
24:08
It's not utterly dark and depressing, but it's kind of how life is.
24:13
Uh, there are all kind of shades and contrasts and, and, and feelings, and, uh, you can feel, feel love and, and, and friendship and, and at some point you can be utterly, like you feel lonely and you've lost everything and, uh, all these emotions.

Uh, I know being in a band for that long and, uh, adding a member to the writing process can change a lot of things, but you guys chose to do s- different stuff with the production this time around, too, right? What was the choice you made?
