What was the first step as a professional or non-professional, as a hobbyist maybe in the back in the days into making music or DJing? What came first?

I'm pretty sure that the first thing that I ever did was trying to replicate the scratch sounds because also growing up I was listening to old school hip hop a lot from the 80s.

I was obsessed with Run DMC and Jam Master Jay.

So this sound, even Rocket from, you know, was probably one of the earliest examples of scratch coming into our track.

Herbie Hancock, you know, this scratching sound that was like, yeah, I was like, what is this? I want to do it.

So in my mind as a child, I really wanted to do it.

And so I started saving money to get my first turntable and mixer.
