What happened? Why did you struggle with it?

We just backed a little bit just to try and save the tyres a little bit.

We wanted the pressures in the window where we wanted them.

So we just managed them, basically, and hopefully we've given Max the best car that we can so that he can go win the championship.

That's what it's all about, but that must be very difficult for you to do, to back out and not drive how you want to.

We all take it in turns, don't we? It'll come up at some point.

But it's all part of being a team at the end of the day, and that's the reason why I'm here, to help him towards getting his championship title.

That was a good fight, wasn't it?

Yeah, we're happy.

We obviously had a good qualifying for both of us, P2 and P1, so obviously we lined the next race up in the top spot.

But yeah, race-wise, obviously it was a shame with the safety car and with us having bigger penalties than some of the others as well, it made it harder to claw it back.

But more importantly, we've gained championship points, which is what we're here for, for Max to hopefully leave it at the end of the day as the winners.

... we went through that, and then sometime during last year we finally stopped that growth, and we'd, we'd stopped all marketing activities for a while because, um, we just didn't want to grow any further 'cause we were too busy trying to hold on for dear life and trying to backfill fixing some technical debt from years ago and whatnot.

And so these last 18-ish months, 12 to 18 months, has, has really been a, a put the brakes on everything, pause everything, and, and rebuild a bunch of stuff in the back end that I've been wanting to rebuild for many, many, many years.

We just didn't have the capacity to be able to do it.

Now we do.

And, um, and so we've just spent the last 12 to 18 months kinda, um, just getting a ton of things in place for the next phase of the Tech Tribe, which is, is just as exciting as the first phase of the Tech Tribe.

We've got a bunch of initiatives happening.
