old cameras, like the GH5, um, and just, or in general speaking, what do you think newer cameras make way easier nowadays? Yeah.

I mean, they almost make everything easier.

Like these newer Lumix cameras, I do have a GH7 and an S1 Mark II.

And, you know, you put a nice fast prime on there, you put autofocus on, you don't even really need to use V-Log.

You can just put a really nice real-time LUT on there.

and that's what like i never suggest to new filmmakers to like get the oldest thing i think that you can and you can still make it work but like if someone's just picking up a camera like i just uh consulted with a guy who's you know trying to start a youtube channel and i recommended that he got the s5 mark ii and i went over to his house and i helped him set it up i put a real-time lut on it put you know face attack autofocus yeah it's just like he doesn't he doesn't really know that much about you know like you know like video production he just wants to be able to turn his camera on press record and have it look good and so the newer cameras help you do that and like the s52 in the used market it's like 1200 bucks or something like that like really really cheap and i even just suggested him to get the the 20 to 60 lens because it's you know 3.5 on full frame is way better than people give it credit for you know like it's still really really good whereas you know if i told him to get like something like a i don't know a g9 mark ii or something like that with a really cheap lens it's not going to look as good as an s5 mark ii with a cheap lens you know

so gh3 was the go-to ride and die bought it way too many times sold it way too many times but now the gh5 why the gh5 specifically and what keeps you coming back to that camera
