That, th- those numbers are basically 10% of the city's affordable housing stock.

It's not a small number.

And, and particularly, like 3,000 of those are Section 8 housing units.

And Section 8 housing goes to private landlords who agree to take tenants, uh, and, and that would not otherwise find a home in the Santa Barbara housing market.
