Well, I think the point that Andy's referring to is a failure of our democratic process and our institutions.

If you've got a huge groundswell, as you had in Northcote, of people saying, we don't want this and we want to have a meaningful say in the suburban environment and the retail food environment, because we understand that this industry has a massive impact on the health and wellbeing of the population in general and of children in particular.

And let's not forget that this McDonald's at 323 High Street, Northcote, is going to be within 100 metres of Northcote Primary School.

So they do this consistently.

The same is happening in Bendigo.

It's about 70 metres in Strathfield, say, in Bendigo from that primary school.

So can you talk about this and what it's asking of the Victorian government?
