Yeah, so for anaesthetists, we're not just ticking a box.

You know, we're not just listing a standard set of complications and we're definitely not confirming complications.

So we have responsibility for taking consent for our particular part of the perioperative process.

And as we've kind of said, that means explaining not just the anaesthetic technique, but also its implications.

And increasingly, this is including kind of the broader perioperative journey.
