yeah no i will i hear you not many people know but there's just an enormous growth from in woodbine entertainment over the 21 years you're there i don't know how many hundreds of millions of dollars in increased growth there is but just fantastic growth and and obviously there's lots of things that happen but what do you think were key to sort of making that happen building the team building the infrastructure etc and making all that that success

Nick EavesGUEST
Yeah, I think the key, I mean, Woodbine Entertainment Group and horse racing generally in North America anyway, is a business, is an industry that really hadn't changed a whole lot and really wasn't open to change.

Nick EavesGUEST
It had been successful over time and its success had come from a particular formula.

Nick EavesGUEST
And as is often the case with these things, there are a lot of people who thought the only way to continue to be successful was to continue to follow the same old formula.

Nick EavesGUEST
And It's obvious that that formula, while for sure having been successful over time, wasn't going to be the formula for the future.

Nick EavesGUEST
Really, the success that we ended up enjoying inside that organization was born out of an eventual sort of understanding that we did need to change.

Nick EavesGUEST
We needed to change not for change sake, but in order to really sort of reimagine the business and set ourselves up to succeed in an environment that had been changing dramatically.
