What makes them so difficult to play against? There's the, there's the visible things, right? They, they're good with their sticks and everything else, but they play systematically in a very different way from almost everybody else in the NHL, do they not?

[laughs] Yeah, I, I would say what separates them is, is, you know, the- they're a, they're a volume team, you know? Like, they, I think they're gonna play the odds, right? So, um, you know, they, they, they shoot a lot of pucks in the ozone.

Um, you know, they...

I, I think the benefit about shooting pucks is that you never know where those bounces are gonna go.

Uh, it creates sprays that go into the corners, and then if you pick those up, now people are generally, uh, out of position.

Um, you know, and, and, and, and pucks are gonna take bounces that it's tough to defend sometimes, right? And, and so you play the odds on that, and you take, you know, as many as they do in a game and, and generally good things happen, and you wear down teams.

And, uh, I think, you know, they, they also, they also [clears throat] don't hold onto a lot of pucks in their D zone.

How hard has it been, and I don't wanna say was it, because it's probably still happening, to divorce yourself from that?
