Nick CotsonikaGUEST
Um, is it because of a breakdown of their relationship going back to contract talks and, and what happened at the end of last season? Um, you know, there's a lot of questions that I have, but you know, this is a homegrown kid who grew up in the Detroit area.

Nick CotsonikaGUEST
You know, played all of his hockey in the Detroit area from Belle Tire to National Team Development Program to University of Michigan to Grand Rapids to Detroit.

And then you go back to the Utah series, right? Like, remember, Vegas was down to Utah two games to one, right? Looked overwhelmed by Utah's speed early, adjusted during that series.

Nick CotsonikaGUEST
Then against Anaheim, again, early in that series, there were times they looked overwhelmed by the speed.

Nick CotsonikaGUEST
And, you know, I think they changed some things in the neutral zone, made sure they had the middle of the ice covered, uh, made it really difficult to get through.

Nick CotsonikaGUEST
Uh, and then also just their trademark in front of the net, right? They collapse in front of the net, uh, they block shots, they tie up sticks, they get in lanes, uh, and they just made it really difficult for Colorado to, to use that speed and skill, right? So I think they learned from the first two series, applied what they learned.

Nick CotsonikaGUEST
It's not, like, a major adjustment, but just, uh, you know, a, a little thing that made a big difference.
