sure you were like oh this is a different beast

it was because i i didn't have theater training i'd never you know i'd say mocap is uh pcap is probably a little closer to theater because you do these long takes um You have to imagine so much and mostly all your environments are made out of two by fours and it's like, oh, that's a car.

Yeah, that was different.

That was definitely something I had to get used to, the head cams.

I mean, you ever tried doing a kissing scene with a head cam? Doesn't work.

You got to do that twice with a soft cap.

Yeah, it gets in the way.

The most important thing is you want to do it.

with that as well? Yeah, definitely one of them.

Yeah, my story and my transition into video games is really like...

Kind of, I want to say a lucky one.

I don't know if that's the word, but...

Um, I was an action actor.

So when I, when I started acting on film and TV, um, I, uh, I was immediately cast as these boyfriend type roles, the guy next door.

And I was getting kind of bored of that stuff.

I was curious about how did you approach that? Did you have your own sort of ideas with what you think would work or was it all like how much freedom did you have with it?

But now that your work has become part of that legacy, has your sense of ownership or responsibility towards the character changed at all?

I feel like it does naturally grow with every project.

I've portrayed Leon four times now, one Netflix series and three games, and I do feel they, they trust me more and more, Capcom, to, to collaborate, to, um, find the new versions of the character together, and that's a great honor because I l- I love the character.

It's not often an actor gets to play a character who he adores.

I was literally a fan girl of Leon for 18 years, almost two decades before I auditioned to walk in his shoes.

And so I, I knew him.
