And then once a writer goes off to write their script and they kind of go in isolated land, what's that like for you? How do you kind of mimic your story to go along with the board or are you able to find things that maybe are not on the board that you all discussed?

Niceole LevyGUEST
It will vary show to show, right? Different showrunners are going to want you to go, you're going to go off with a different level of information depending on the show.

Niceole LevyGUEST
There are shows I have heard of that have like 35 page outlines that include dialogue pitches and are very detailed in what's supposed to happen in those scenes, right? That implies that you do not have a lot of freedom.

Niceole LevyGUEST
The expectation is you are going to deliver what the room has sat there and crafted and put dialogue in and said this is what it is.

Niceole LevyGUEST
There are rooms where you're going through right before you go off to write every, we'll walk through all the scenes, make sure the person has answers to any questions they have.

Niceole LevyGUEST
And sometimes like someone will say, so, um, do we want to talk about how you get out of the scene? And I will usually say, that's a writer's problem.

So a lot of that TV watching, it just didn't occur to me that people wrote it.

Niceole LevyGUEST
And I wrote things, but I wrote things just to give myself something to play around acting, right? And in my senior year of high school- I took AP English, and shout out to Mike Phillips if he ever were to hear this.
