He's originally from Venezuela and spent many years in Madrid before moving to the island, where he's getting used to the dike landscape.

It is a complete new concept for me.

Like being, uh, used to having the Caribbean Sea in front of me, it's, uh, it's just a very different kind of water.

It's like a different environment.

I think I couldn't put it in words what it psychologically does to me, but it has like a soothing, calming effect.

So I make sure I'm visiting [laughs] whenever the rain is gone.
