Is coaching something you've always wanted to get into and how did it come about?
4:17
Um, not necessarily.
4:18
I actually think my time in the States is probably what sparked my interest in coaching.
4:23
So, um, came back a little bit earlier than I anticipated.
4:27
And, um, to be honest, just went down to Mango to have a kick for a couple of weeks and was actually planning on heading back to the States at that point.
4:34
Um, and just to be honest, found my love for footy again, um, like game you grow up playing and just absolutely loved it and, um, ended up deciding to, uh, to stick around back home and, you know, play footy and enjoy it again.

And the coaching opportunity came about there.

What's your thoughts on Corowa's list so far, and where do you feel like you can bring some growth to the 2027 and 2028 seasons?

Who's impressed you throughout your year and who stood up for you that I guess maybe wasn't as heralded at the start of the year?
5:45
Yeah, it's a great question.
5:46
I think something that's been really positive for us is we've had a really even spread throughout the year.
5:54
I think Luca Drew for us is one that didn't play for the first half of the year, which we were really disappointed in, but has done an awesome job to come back.
6:05
from injury and he's just been outstanding for us to be honest in the back end of the year and maybe doesn't get the credit he deserves given he's played limited amount of footy throughout the year so from a recruiting perspective he's been great I think Jordan Foote, obviously very high profile and probably well talked about, but particularly through the back end of the year, I think he's probably been the difference in three or four games that we've played.
6:32
He's just been that X factor that's probably been the difference between winning or losing a game of footy.
6:38
So look, I think those two have been outstanding.
