Megan McClanahanHOST
So let's kind of dive into what Meals on Wheels does for the community and how it works.

Neil SnellerGUEST
So the common misperception is we just do meals and that the food is low quality.

Neil SnellerGUEST
And so one of the things that we always like to speak to when we get the opportunities, and thank you again for having us on this platform, is that it can be for someone who maybe just got out of the hospital and is unable to cook food for themselves safely, and they may not have friends or family.

Neil SnellerGUEST
So really kind of the two criteria is to be homebound and unable to cook food for yourself safely.

Neil SnellerGUEST
While many of our neighbors that we serve are seniors, we do have, we like to use the word adults because we do have folks that are not all seniors that may have a disability or special need and they need some support.

Neil SnellerGUEST
And the food is secondary in that our volunteers that go and they check on folks, they knock on the door, they say, hey, how are you doing today? Wow.
