What prompted you to create JASA and what did you see happening in South Africa that made you feel that that type of organization was needed?

Thank you so much.

The creation of JASA was really an evolution, an evolution within the judicial fraternity legal space in South Africa, because when we looked into what we have and what protective measures there are out there that supports the judiciary in particular, but the broader legal community, We were able to discover that there is a major gap in the way in which different organizations operate.

JASA saw the need to encourage and really synergize with aspects relating to social cohesion.

And when we look at society in general and in South Africa, we'll understand that beyond the different race groups and denominations and religious groups, there are different cultures, there are different kingdoms, there are traditional leaders out there, there are the Khoi and the Sand.

So the variety of citizens within our country is so vast, obviously inclusive of people the large number of foreigners we have in this country coming from all over Africa, including from beyond Africa, from other countries like Europe and the like.

So because South Africa is such a cosmopolitan and fully inclusive country, particularly when you look at the way our constitution is crafted, We don't seem to really be tackling the issues that are at hand.

You know, it begs the question sometimes when I talk to people is why should the taxpayers have to keep these people alive? I'm sorry to say, why should the taxpayers pay for this person's well-being for the rest of their lives of these serial killers?
