Well, again my name's Nathan Winston.

I'm from southern Ohio, born and raised.

Born in Cincinnati, raised in a place called Chillicothe.

I was born with a rare birth defect, PFFD, which stands for proximal femoral focal deficiency.

So in my particular case, my femur and the ball and socket didn't form, and so my left leg wasn't growing at the same speed as my right leg, and so at the age of four they decided to amputate my leg.
