What was the blueprint you outlined to them and what were they specifically looking for from a new leader at Perenport?

I know obviously they needed to grow and they needed to put a plan in place.

That was something that was very, very clear.

It's a golf course that wasn't well known unless you knew it.

It was kind of undersold, undervalued.

And that was something that we wanted to quickly change.

And it was like the first thing I said, and I said this within both of my interviews, the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to change your website.

How did, how did your refereeing come about? So obviously when I started the

Yeah.

And for many years, the accommodation was known as kind of being the thing that kept the club going.

Um, and there's n- you only need to read the, the club's book, which, yes, you can go and r- get a copy of in the shop for, for no money 'cause we've got loads of them, and we're, we're happy to just kind of share the story.

But the club has had many, many times of financial difficulty, and I think, I think three times it pretty much went bust.

Um, and basically Covid, from what I, from what I've been told, kind of enabled the club to survive, as well as a, a sale, a sale of a plot of land, um, to build a rather nice house on it.

And that was in and around 18, 19, 20, 21, through Covid.

Um, obviously golf was, golf was on a boom.
