And it's, like, two out of my whole life, out of all the waves I've surfed, the incre- incredible waves.

I've had great sessions where I've been like, "Awesome, good time.

That was epic day.

Best day ever." But those moments where you're like, "Oh my gosh, that was, like, everything I ever wanted in a ride.

Terrifying, right by the edge of a knife, barely made it, huge." Those are, like, they come so far and few between that for me personally, I just, like, take it for what it was, knowing that it's probably not ever gonna happen again.

And, um, and he, he's like, the guy doesn't sleep on these crossings, you know, because he's oftentimes the only one that can really operate the boat.

But at what point did it sort of, A, like slide into the slabby waves and B, become the video diaries or whatever, I'm not sure what you call them, but the pieces you post with your narration over the top of them?

Man, I can't say how many trips we just did and didn't capture.

We were just grams and in the beginning, it was like, me and my friends were like, okay, we gotta get to Tahiti.

It's a neighboring island, it's one flight away.

Was there ever a contest period for you? I guess is my question.
