Well, if it's visitor economy, did they tell you how many Canadians are still visiting? Because as we know, tourism to the United States has fallen off a cliff.
3:05
Yeah, certainly many places around the United States, including Nashville, are suffering from a decline in tourism.
3:14
But a perfect example of today's meetings and why they're useful and why they're important is nobody can communicate our message to the U.S. administration directly.
3:27
better than Americans can.
3:29
And so there was a number of tourism executives from Nashville that actually were meeting with the president yesterday.
3:36
I don't know exactly what happened in that meeting in terms of what was shared or not shared, but certainly a depressed Canadian tourism market in the minds of Nashville executives is top of mind.
3:49
And so I certainly wouldn't be surprised if these were the sorts of messages that were shared with the president.

And this is what we want the administration and legislators in Washington talking about.

What do
27:01
you think about it? I mean, it was longer than seven years ago.
27:04
I said, I'm getting married in two weeks.
27:06
Like, let's talk about this after.
27:10
And the high level, you know, there was every 10 years, the infant formula makers and infant formulas age.
27:19
exponentially you know massive massive market like tens of 20 billions of dollars a year these formula makers anoint a new ingredient as king to try and make formula closer to breast milk um and what laura and team were building had a really good potential to become the king maker or the king for queen and that ingredient in the back of my mind um and I think me more so than a lot of other people, was this idea that the applications of this ingredient outside of infant nutrition.
27:58
And so in pet, in adult, in adolescent, the market was exponentially larger and people might not get it at first, but that was what I was really excited about.

Yeah, so
9:23
Why is food so underrated, and what's the real opportunity?
9:28
It's the only industry in the world that every human being interacts with three times a day.
9:32
Uh, in a world where AI is gonna eat and kill everything, I think it's the best place to be investing.
9:38
It's very antiquated, right? It is traditionally unsexy, right? Lower margin than SaaS, lower margin than software than AI, but there are interesting use cases where software and AI can affect these businesses to a massive amount.
9:51
In a world of GLP-1s and changing tastes and preferences and people caring more about their health, on the brand side and the ingredient side, there are going to be fortunes made, right? Where, um, you know, take...
10:06
You look at Olipop, right? Nobody thought that the world needed another soda.
10:10
You know, they created this better-for-you soda category that is now a multi-billion dollar a year category, right? Poppi was sold for two billion dollars, and Olipop will likely sell for more, and there's, um, you know, a dozen other competitors in the category that are building substantial businesses.
