AT sticks.
9:05
Yeah.
9:07
The funny thing that happened with that was I was living with my sister.
9:10
Yes.
9:11
And I met a few neighbors and one of the guys we talked and he wanted to walk up in Germantown.
9:19
We took the walk maybe about four miles, I'm guessing.
9:22
And I saw the gym and I looked in there and I saw these people throwing punches.
10:11
um,
19:36
... achieved your dream.
19:39
Yeah.
19:39
Yes, sir.
19:39
Uh, you know, it's one of those things, I guess, as adults when we look back and we thought we had a linear path, but it sure wasn't that way.
19:45
I, I guess I'm another example of that.
19:49
As you mentioned, I saw Top Gun when I was 12 and said, "That." That to me was the ultimate.
19:55
My mom was a nurse, so she was, of course, a servant, uh, a servant leader, and my dad was a diesel mechanic and truck driver, like all the males in my family, and he was great at both.
22:11
[laughs] So tell us, what is it like when you're a Blue Angel and you're flying those crazy maneuvers tip to tip, wing to wing? Uh, you know, just what, uh, what's the rush of that?
4:09
So tell us, what is it like when you're a Blue Angel and you're flying those crazy maneuvers, tip to tip, wing to wing, you know, just what's the rush of that?
4:24
Thank you for asking that question.
4:27
In my life, I just have kind of been a doer, so I don't reflect so much, but getting out and unplugging and now getting back into general aviation and seeing broadly what aviation is all about, but more specifically the, uh, the, I guess, admiration of, of what the blue angels do.
4:43
And knowing that I was part of that, sometimes I kind of go, was I, was that real? Like, cause I just was doing my thing with my guys and my gals, you know, it just was something everyone trained to, and it was the standard.
4:57
Seeking perfection was the standard.
4:59
And that was emblematic in the Blue Angels, but it was nothing different than flying around aircraft carriers and doing tactics.
5:06
It just, you get to put on display and the dream that came true from doing that by putting on display the power, the professionalism and the precision of our military service.
6:43
Tell the listeners where they can find you if they want a future in aviation and they want to come to your shop.
38:05
Well, thinking about this year's crop, what can what we're seeing out there right now teach us about making some of those better seed decisions for next season, Nate?
38:15
yeah so as we get out and look at that crop there's some things that we would really encourage producers growers to be looking for and looking at so of course we're trying to judge yield potential but then we need to to dial in really to agronomic characteristics we've had again as i mentioned a very dynamic 26 as most growing seasons are and so as we look at the corn belt in general we see a very wet eastern half of the corn belt and as we get further west we see very dry and so we're going to see some some performance characteristics here in those environments abundant moisture in some geographies here in the east and over abundant in some places and then dry out west and so how are your products your seed products doing in the field against those conditions we also need to evaluate for disease how does disease pressure look how did certain products hold up against disease pressure how did they hold up against maybe some insect pressure that may have been there Look at also your trait packages.
39:13
Are you pleased with your trait packages? Were you able to get adequate weed control? Does it look like we got insect control the way you would expect? And similar again, rely on your local experts as well to feed some of that information in.
39:26
Certainly the nutrient crop consultant or local sales rep is going to be a trusted source of information as they'll look across a wider geography than what you can look at on your individual farm.
39:36
And so start building that information base in terms of how do things look in the field, how do they perform, and where do I want to go from here as we think about 27.
39:45
Well,
39:46
how early should growers begin discussing seed decisions for next year, for 2027, Nate?
39:54
We actually like to say that when the seed is up in the year prior, that's when you start thinking about the next year.
20:38
Oh, it is?
20:39
...
20:39
if you, if you watch the video, um, or actually several, I've made several videos about it.
20:46
What I'm talking about is how there's this cup that Harrison Ford's character drinks out of in the movie, and it's this chiseled glass, geometric, beautiful cup.
20:58
And there's this weird story about how it was made by this Italian designer and sold in this upscale store in Beverly Hills.
21:06
And someone who worked for the movie, maybe the art director or the prop master or something, went into the store and bought a handful of these cups.
21:15
And then they got handpicked by Ridley Scott and ended up in the movie, and so they kind of have this little cult following behind them.
22:28
What's your answer?
56:48
So how long have you been contributing to 6x6?
56:54
Well, to be honest, never.
56:57
Oh, you've never done it? I have not done that.
57:01
I suppose this year, in kind of a tangential way, I did.
57:06
So working with the city's office, we discovered a few years ago that we were coming up on an anniversary of our city's...
57:16
Mark.
57:16
Yeah.
59:02
So when you're starting to create the documentary, So how did you decide all the different subjects? Did you find the people who contributed to the original, or how did that whole process go for
