How did your path lead from growing up in Florida to the Air Force and through all kinds of wide range of economic development positions here in North Carolina to your current position leading Gardner's economic development effort?

It's a great question.

There's an hour long answer, a 30 minute answer and a four minute answer.

So I'll try to stick to the four minute answer.

So Uh, long story short, uh, yeah, born and raised in Orlando.

Um, you know, lived there until I moved up here about 10 years ago, uh, went off to the air force was a security forces member, which is, um, government speak for military police and the air force.

We all have our own different, different, uh, names for our career fields there.

Can you kind of highlight some of those differences from your experience?
