Um, so y- your choice, but I, I, I care a little bit more about who's gonna, you know, who's a threat to make it out of the East come, come April and May.
37:42
Yeah, I think, well, the Knicks have to be number one in their own tier.
37:45
I mean, the...
37:45
And r- we'll see if Kawhi changes things.
37:49
But I, I think ultimately, you know, th- they, they have the advantage against the Raptors until proven otherwise.
37:54
Uh, and they also, they just reached a level that few teams have ever reached, uh, last year in the playoffs, not to mention any of the other teams, uh, in this East field.
38:03
So certainly you'd have to have them number one, even with the loss o- of Vicious Robinson.

7 MINS LATER

45:27
Uh, what was your takeaway from that chat and, um, you know, the, the extent that that might be able to work with three guards starting for the Spurs if that's how they end up going?
51:51
Yeah, yeah.
51:52
She, if people will recall, is the governor of the team still due to an agreement with Mark Walter that she could stay on for the next five years after the sale took place in 2025.
52:03
As the representative of the Buss trusts, which still owns 17.8% of the team, then that's divided by six, but she is the governor of that, um, that segment.
52:14
And so because she represents that 17.8% of the trust, she can still be the governor.
52:20
However, with, with Walter selling, the rest of her siblings voted within the structure of the trust to sell.
52:27
And once that happens, she won't own enough of the team to be the governor if she were to hold onto her, you know, 3% or, or whatever it is, that one-sixth of the 17.8%.
52:38
So that is what she is trying to stop, is the Buss family trust selling their portion.

8 MINS LATER

60:30
Yeah.
15:56
Is there any way you could see her winning? Like, i- if we're talking six months from now, 12 months from now, and she somehow won this ruling, how do you think that played out?
16:08
Yeah, I mean, certainly like, like I said, there's a certain way you could interpret that order, and I think if you went to that judge, judges generally don't like it.
16:16
They have a new judge in this case, so he's gonna be interpreting the old judge's order it sounds like.
16:20
But usually judges don't like it when you take an order, in this case they stipulated it, but the judge signed it, and kinda go too far with it or try to make it say something that it didn't or that was never really addressed.
16:33
And so we haven't talked about this yet necessarily, but that third part of, of why I think Jeanie should lose is that you have to look at every part of a document, right? If you, if the only thing in the trust about selling or control or anything was this 11.10 that says Jeanie's gotta be essentially the governor, uh, during her lifetime, if that's all that it said, yeah, I think she actually might have a pretty decent argument there.
16:57
But it's well settled when you're interpreting any kind of a document, including in California probate code, that you have to look at all of the relevant components of a document that could affect it.
17:07
And so there are two other, uh, sections, 2.4 and 9.5, that look at, A, when can you sell, and that's the 60%, or sorry, uh, two-thirds of the living siblings, uh, which would be four out of six in this case, can vote to sell and to terminate the trust.

15 MINS LATER

32:51
They dodged one, yeah
14:23
Um, w- what has stood out to you most about Deni's rise this season?
14:30
Yeah, I think the biggest thing that stood out to me is just that, like, teams have not been able to stop him.
14:36
And that's even the case when the Blazers had nobody else who could do anything and nobody else who could shoot.
14:42
Uh, certainly seeing, uh, in person what he did to Golden State the second game, uh, that I think those two teams played, but it was in Golden State where they just couldn't deal with him.
14:52
Like, a- and even, they'd even try to, like, deny him the ball on the floor.
14:55
He got a couple of back doors.
14:57
They could run pick and roll at a smaller player.
18:55
Yeah
124:06
the consensus number one
124:08
yeah it's uh i i mean my stepfather he makes like double the amount of gravy just for me like my i would say that my plate there's no like first of all like whatever plate i'm using has to have like some sort of an edge we used to have these great like brown plates that had almost like an inch edge on the side and that edge was all the way like over at the edge it wasn't like okay there's like a middle portion and then there's an edge on that and then there's this superfluous edge to the plate that's decorative but doesn't actually have any room for your food.
124:42
These plates were amazing.
124:44
We've kind of gone away from that in recent years, but nonetheless, I have every inch of my plate that isn't covered by a food item is covered with gravy and And I get so much gravy in each bite.
124:56
I make sure that each bite of turkey is completely soaked in gravy.
124:59
Each bite of mashed potatoes is each bite of stuffing often as well.
125:03
That even so, with that much gravy, there's no gravy left on the plate by the time I have finished that plate.
125:22
easily number one i mean not even a competitor to gravy on the thanksgiving meal i mean basically gravy is number one two three four and five especially because when you're making the gravy out of the drippings from the turkey which is how gravy should be made you have so much turkey in there already it's like when i'm making gravy from those drippings i'll pull off a bunch of little pieces from the turkey the moistest pieces mix them all around so that if you wanted to you could scoop some mashed potatoes do the little hole in the middle with the gravy and that could even be your turkey you don't need large pieces of turkey you can have it floating around in your gravy and it is excellent
40:48
He's returning from that blood clot issue, thankfully for- for Milwaukee, but how do you expect his return to change the Bucks offense, Nate?
40:54
Yeah, they really struggled to get up three-pointers.
40:59
Uh, that's long been a focus of Rick Carlisle, and they kinda let Giannis get off and...
41:06
My hope would be, actually, that more Dame, although in his first game back, this probably isn't realistic, but within the series, that more Dame can actually just create some more threes, but also free up Giannis to be better on defense.
41:19
If the Milwaukee Bucks...
41:20
Uh, as great as Giannis has been offensively and adding this mid-range jumper is great, like, he looked...
41:25
Had one of the best isolation scoring games I've ever seen him have in the playoffs, uh, in that game one, um, but he didn't really have any assists and nobody else hurt them at all.
45:49
Who would you cut from the rotation, Nate? Is it Kuzma?
